Class Descriptions
This high energy class is designed to challenge individuals of all fitness levels.
Each session will begin with a gradual warm up to loosen the muscles and then
proceed through a 45 minute routine designed to strengthen the muscles, burn fat
and energize the body. Class will end with a structured cool down and relaxation
emphasizing flexibility and breath awareness. Exercises will include (but not
be limited to) traditional calisthenics, plyometrics, agility exercises, abdominal
and core strengthening exercises, basic yoga postures and dynamic flexibility
exercises. Bring a towel, water bottle, yoga mat and an open mind ready to work.
This class is designed for children to learn the basics of exercise in a safe,
encouraging and fun environment. The class will utilize age appropriate movements,
while promoting cooperation, imagination and body awareness. Activities will include
circle time reading, stretching like animals, fitness games and activities, basic
yoga poses, learning healthy habits, song and dance, fun, fun, fun. Parents are
encouraged to participate if they desire. ($40.00/month)
Hatha 1:
This class is geared towards beginning students or on-going students who wish
to deeped their foundation postures. Sun salutations and a wide range of standing
and seated postures will be explored. Breath work and relaxation will be part
of the practice.
Mixed Levels:
This class is for all levels of students ranging from new to continuing students.
The class has a moderate pace and will provide students with a practice in breath
work, postures and relaxation.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
This class is for students who have some yoga experience. The sequence of postures
is designed to create heat in the body, build inner strength, stamina and endurance.
This class will also include breathe work and relaxation.

Registration
New students should arrive about 10 minutes early; allowing time to meet with
the teacher. This will allow you the opportunity to discuss your goals, exercise
history and any other questions you might have.
To speed up your registration, you can download the new student intake paperwork
here and fill it out at home at your convenience. Please be sure to bring it
with you the first time you come to class.

General Class Information

Please arrive to class on time.

New students should arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for registration papers
to be filled out.

Shoes are never worn in the asana room. Please leave them in the shoe rack in
the main hallway. Belongings may be left in locker room but feel free to bring
any valuables into the class room.

Bring a mat and a towel (mats are available to purchase).

Dress in comfortable clothing to allow for ease of movement through asanas.

Do your best to practice on an empty stomach.

Please turn off all cell-phones and pagers inside studio.

Please inform teacher of any health concerns such as neck, back or joint injuries,
heart condition, high blood pressure, recent surgery or pregnancy. If you should
feel any pain, dizziness or nausea during class, stop immediately and notify teacher.
